In 2000, the pioneers of Starkes started engaging in the construction business. At the onset, the founders first focused on their own construction projects for their family business from 2000 – 2004. In 2004, they started with the Chowking Legazpi branch. The year after that, in 2005, the project for the LCC Sorsogon Mall started. For the years 2006 – 2011, they completed 2 bigger projects, the Legazpi Grand Terminal and the rehabilitation of the Mayon International Hotel into what is now known as the Oriental Hotel Legazpi, a 4 star hotel sitting on top of a prime spot overlooking Legazpi. Starting from the year 2012, they started working on projects outside of the Bicol region with the construction of the One Mall Valenzuela and Holiday Island in 2016 – 2017. As their projects grew in time, the progenitors finally decided to incorporate themselves into Starkes Konstrukt Inc.
